About Monet Lugo

Monet Lugo

Monet Lugo is an Artist with professional experience in the fields of Fashion and Textile Design as well as a Style Advisor.

Born in Mexico City, she began her career as a Custom Designer for television and later pursued her passion for fashion by studying in Europe.

She attended two of the world’s most prestigious fashion institutions — Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and L’École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris.

During her final year, Monet was awarded the Trophée Saint Roch for Technical Expertise at the renowned fashion show held at the Louvre Museum in Paris. This recognition opened the opportunity to join the Studio Design Team at Hermès, where she worked for several years under  the creative direction of Martin Margiela and Jean Paul Gaultier.

In 2006, Monet moved to Los Angeles, where she continued her work in fashion, designing for brands sold in major department stores, the streetwear label Guess, and other exclusive brands.

She currently works exclusively as a Freelance Designer.
